In the more menu, look for word count. Click view options and select show word count. You'll see a box appear at the bottom of your pages document. Open the pages document and tap the view icon on the top left. Scroll down and choose view options. To display another statistic in the counter, tap it. When the document is opened, tap on the three dots located at the top right corner of the screen. To see word count and other statistics for only part of a document, such as a paragraph, select the text that you want to check—the count updates to reflect only the selected text. Click that box and you’ll also see the character count with and without spaces, the paragraph count, and number of pages. You are now able to see your word count.
